I’d drive it. I would rather buy a shite load more vehicles with the money before I’d buy that tho

The preferred vehicle for every lesbian in the 80s and 90s, along with the Nissan Pathfinder. But yes, I'd drive the heck out of that.

No, but only because they've wasted this package on a lowly SR5 instead of atleast a TRD Off Road.

Funny thing is about a few months ago my wife decided she wanted to do something like an oldschool Gold Package on her TRD Off Road, so I did this with the rear badging and even have a front TRD Pro grill in white with the same gold lettering that I need to finish up this weekend. So her 4Runner will look damn near just like this package, even have a set of bronze wheels sitting in the garage waiting on tires. Just won't have the stripe.

I own an 85 myself. Manual, 22RE engine with EFI, solid axle.

She's a beaut just needs a little rust repair in the rear quarter panels.

Recently had the tranny re-done by Marlin Crawler and omg. worth every penny.

While I like the original 4Runner I don’t like any of the recent versions. It does a lot of things adequately and nothing really well.

Us Toyota fan boys will let it slide if you don't know but let me educate you. The stripe pays homage to Ivan "Ironman" Stewart the legendary off road racer and member of the Motorsports hall of fame.

Ironman Stewart has driven a Toyota truck to 17 Baja 500 wins, 8 Mint 400 wins, 4 Parker 400 wins, 3 Baja 1000 wins, 4 Score World Championships and he carried that stripe for each one during his 30 plus year relationship with Toyota trucks.

Ivan "Ironman" Stewart is one of the most decorated off road racers of all time.

Now you know why Toyota likes that stripe.

Nope. They were just a single, wide, white stripe.
