Idiots could simply build a fire outside and stand close to it. Morons.

If they want a real experience, I know some people who can let them experience what feels like 160 degrees. You'll even get a nice pay check once you're done.

That’s the most remarkable thing to me. 100+ at 5 a.m. is just wicked.

Dry heat actually feels pretty good as long as you know when to cool off

Not when you’re in the direct sun

As a pale man who lived in Arizona this was true. You legit feel the intense radiation there. It feels like damage is being inflicted the longer you bake.

With very brief periods of time outside I would see tan lines where my sandals cover my feet. There's very little cloud cover there and much more solar radiation exposure.

The record of 130° was set on July 12, 1913. There have been a couple of 129° days there, and a handful that hit 128°.

Then, there's this:

NY Post fricked up the caption.

That 134° record, also in July 1913, was invalidated.

And climate deniers think there’s absolutely nothing wrong with this.. something has to be done about our green house gas emissions.

I feel so sorry for the Park personnel who will have to go out to hydrate the survivors or retrieve the desiccated corpses.
the only possible reason I can think of going there in this heat is to try to kill a cancer tumor that can't handle that heat. And that from a paper several decades ago.

Survivors will continue on to Washington to bungee jump into Mount St Helen’s before finally traveling to Alaska to swim across the Bering Strait next January.
