Who cares? It's not sacred ground. It's just an arbitrary place the bureaucrats decided to build a memorial. Frankly it would be cooler if they allowed wading. It's more about possible liability and repair costs than respect. And my dad is a wwii vet, but this is nothing.
Besides we have our federal tax dollars going to people who kill babies and sell their parts for European supersports cars. That is the kind of shite my father would be pissed off about.
