This might be our first EF-5 tornado since 2013.

What makes Mississippi and Alabama such a tornado hotbed compared with Louisiana, the Carolinas, Georgia and other southern states that don’t seem to get as many tornadoes?
Location between athe Gulf of Mexico and cooler westerly winds.

Brad Arnold was among a bunch of tree damage that clearly shows a nasty storm was just there

That just means it hit something. You have have the strongest tornado on record but if it doesn’t that anything it’s not an EF-5.

There's too many trees down so Brad's chase is done. Brett is stationary and they're set up to intercept.

Brad Arnold links not working
Brad Arnold is at a dead stop on I-59 with a giant pine tree across the entire Northbound side of the interstate.
Now he crossed the median and is driving Northbound in the Southbound lane.

Well, yeah. We still can't accurately measure wind speed unless the storm hits something.
