As we continue to refine our damage survey information, we have rated another tornado in Clarke County from Easter Sunday. This EF1 started in Jasper County and continued into Clarke County, ending on the west side of Enterprise.

While I knew this wasn't going to be a nothingburger, I thought the event had been a "dud" on Monday morning. But then latent reports of tornadoes began to come in and it turned into one of the largest outbreaks in recorded history. It completely took me by surprise.
Still though...most of the tornadoes involved in the outbreak were (thankfully) weak and did only minor damage. There was only one EF-4 and no EF-5s so at least the violent, long track storms were kept to a minimum. It'll be a long while before we see 15 EF-4 and above storms on the same day like we saw on April 27, 2011.
