I don’t know what SS wears, but the snipers in the video have “police” on their uniforms. Very possible it’s SS idk, but I would assume they get the help of local swat teams quite often in these situations especially for the non sitting President for a rally.
ETA: it does seem absolutely crazy that some form of a police drone isn’t used in this situation? Something at 500-1000 ft with zoom ability to quickly identify suspicious objects. Would there be a reason I don’t know about to not have this? Like they just prefer no drones flying in the area?

The PA state police guy at the press conference said that local and state were responsible for outside the perimeter security and SS inside. Where that perimeter begins, I don't know. I've seen former LE on here and X say that they contract out counter snipers sometimes. So who knows? I do know, however, that the SS team that was there yesterday did not seem to be the varsity team.

Nope. The doc said the victim had been hit and spun around. People go straight down when trying to duck. You can see everyone doing it in the video. Why would this person turn a 180 facing opposite the crowd and then duck?
The doc is a calm emergency room physician. If he says the victim was shot on the left side, I take what he says to be true.
Anyway, sorry for derailing the thread.

I saw earlier that an advance team from SS sets the perimeter. Could be 10 ft, could be 10 miles. Then the team on ground works it as it was planned for them.

Wasn't the shooter shown towards the other end of the building (red arrow) with video recorded from the ground amongst those trees (green arrow)?

Ahh I never noticed that. I only zoomed in to look at their rifles and gear they had on their rifles. Definitely feds, and not contractors on the roof.

I don't think you could really tell from that video from how far it was zoomed. I did see a witness claim two cops were searching for something and said they "ran through the parking lot between the buildings". So if that's the case and they were after the shooter, I don't think the shooter would run the length of the building to get in position.
Regardless, he should have never been able to get into an elevated firing position and able to get off multiple shots.

It was all scrubbed, either by him before hand or by the social media companies immediately after.

The best drones on the market for this are made by DJI (a Chinese manufacturer). A lot of government agencies have banned them from use with the pending legislation trying to completely ban the future sale of them in the US.
