100k people had a giant party, listened and sung along to some country(ish) music, drank a lot of beer and ate a lot of food. I don't know if it gets more American than that. Maybe you hate America?

Stole this from FB

Anybody at Garth Brooks tonight?!? I haven’t seen him live since the Biden inauguration. Great performer.

Well said. And I'm not a country fan but I've been wanting to see him for a long time. I've heard great things about his concerts and they're all correct.

I saw him in 2015 when he was in at the Smoothie King Center. It was a great show and I sung along with words I didn’t even know that I knew. So many classics…

I bet LSU could fill up 115,000 seats for a game against Alabama, if we had that many seats.

I don’t know man. This is the first time in my life I have seen the stadium that full, without a single pocket of empty seats. And I have had season tickers since 1990

Last night was incredible.

Worth the price, worth the drive, had good seats so views were perfect

The absolute best concert I’ve ever attended.

Loved his hits obviously but I really enjoyed his encore walking around singing fan requests with all us singing along. What an experience

Well you would be wrong. I've been going to games for 20 years and I've never seen so many people in Tiger stadium. Easily over 102k when you count every one on the

Steve Scalise was there and made a post about it being 120k. That seems right. I couldn't stop staring around the Stadium in awe.

Say your life is miserable without saying your life is miserable.

I honestly don't understand people like you who live life through your politics 24/7 365.

BTW, not agreeing with your views doesn't determine if someone hates America or not.

I agree with the posts above about there being more than 102k. The place was jam packed, no wiggle room, and people down on the field.

Incredible show!

They probably could have in 2012. It's just that LSU games are all on TV and many just party all day and continue to drink and watch the game at tailgates outside of the stadium.

Impressive attendance for Garth.

Okay, this is cool. Was able to guess the time that Garth Brooks played Callin’ Baton Rouge at this evening’s concert (confirmed it played at about 9:25) from the seismic data collected at @lsu . The live data can be found here for anyone else interested:

Concert was incredible. One of the best live music experiences I’ve been to. The concessions were an epic cluster frick of disastrous proportions. 50 deep at every line near our seats. It fricking sucked.

I'll bet it would have been an experience. I was at his Notre Dame concert when he first kicked off his stadium tour and we're going next weekend again. It was a great concert, and I am excited about going again.

Note Dame stadium is a great venue, but I can't imagine what it would be like in Tiger Stadium.

A night for the ages. Great show and great crowd. Aramark couldn’t even ruin it…and they tried their best.
