For the love of God! Can we not get Graves to go apeshit with LSU NIL? Yes, I know he graduated from UGA but he owes his success to the LSU community and Louisiana in general. He could be LSU’s “guy.”

Is honey mustard no longer an option? I haven't been to one in about 5 years but I always preferred the honey mustard sauce for the tenders

Picked some up the other day for the first time in a while, and HM was still an option, as their default sauce is nasty.
I usually only get canes when I visit one of my grandmas, as theres one near her. It's been a while since she agreed to it when I called to see what see wanted me to pickup for dinner. I asked her why she she hadn't said ok to it in a while, and she said cause it's gone down hill. Not like it use to be. When you lose Grandmas, that'll be happy with anything just to get a visit, it's pretty bad. Their fries have definitely gone to crap, which seems hard to do.

Congrats to him, but I will never get the appeal to a bland chicken finger with no spice.
But he did it, much props

Find the LSU prof that gave him a "C" and ask him.

Cane’s leases their locations from Grave’s real estate company. He probably earns as much if not more doing that than selling chicken fingers.

Surprised not James Davison and Elton Kennedy

I don't know how this myth keeps getting reported. Graves did not get a C at LSU on this business plan. It wasn't Graves.

Elton Kennedy is an excellent pull into this discussion. Sneaky quiet money there.

It was a B- and Todd help write the business plan with Craig Silvey. It was “lowest grade in the class”.

Founders Todd Graves and Craig Silvey were studying at different universities when they wrote a plan for a chicken-finger restaurant which Silvey submitted in a business plan-writing course, receiving a C-minus grade. At the time, Graves worked at Guthrie's Chicken Fingers.[6]

Don’t forget the Chouest family.
Folks like this might be domiciled in another state for tax reasons, too. With as funky as Louisiana gets about stuff, I might not want to park my billions in a local bank account. I would assume a fair amount of petroleum-related bank accoutns are in Houston or Switzerland or somewhere non Louisiana.

Isn't Cane's a Texas company now?
