I'll be honest, I watched their show from time to time. If there was nothing on TV and they were on I would just put it on.. What turned me on to it is the first time I saw it the son wanted to go see some girls and his daddy told him he couldn't go and he told his sister "You got to risk it for the biscuit".

But I was always suspect because they were all about high morals and tradition and when people are that upfront with it, especially on a reality show, it is usually obviously they are putting up a front.

He has an older son with his first wife who is an addict and he tried to help the son and adopted the son's daughter because the son wasn't allowed to see the kid. I figured they paid off the mother and brought her in just to have a young kid on the show.

Then he has an older daughter with the first wife as well, she looks pretty good, but evidently she is one of those vegan types who has all kind of weird parenting methods.

But I have never trusted people who make it a point to let you know how good of people they are. They usually have motive behind their good actions. It just comes off as if they are compensating for something else. If they do good in one area, maybe it will balance out what they are doing in another area.
