Well... She's absolutely right.

You have to draw the line at 'skinny' because most women will never get there, but at least they'll try. If you draw the line at 'curvy,' most of them will stop at 'fat.'

Fixed it for her, and she's right. We have a warped view on body types these days. A lot of body types are now considered "fat" if you can't see the outline of their ribs.
Maybe for celebrities...but they are subjected to higher standards than normal day folk. Also...camera does add weight so in order to appear the way they want to on camera...they actually need to be several pounds lighter than that IRL.
Fat acceptance has gone overboard. People that are just obese try to spin it as "curvy". Being obese is not healthy and will only increase the costs of healthcare. I'm not saying every woman needs to be a size 2 or anything. Yes, women should embrace that there are different shapes that are still considered healthy and that some women have more curves than others. But we need to draw that line at accepting obese as healthy/acceptable.

This means she is getting fat and it's becoming impossible to photoshop the pics so we should get ready.

She needs to just shut up and show her b hole again

Don't tell me you're one of those that thinks that everyone that's obese is just lazy and they don't care enough to lose weight.

I realize that isn't the case for everyone. But at work, I see obese children more and more now(and it saddens and infuriates me at the same time cause no 5 year old should ever be 100 lbs). And guess who else is obese? Their parents, their siblings, and their grandparents...the whole family. And when I ask the family what kinds of foods they are eating? Shocking...lots of fast foods, chips, sodas, sweets
and other unhealthy foods.
We are one of the fattest countries on the planet and people want to say we should embrace a new body type? That people focus on being thin too much? The soaring obesity and type 2 diabetes rates in the U.S. would prove otherwise.

and inner city youth are eating kale? It's amazing how they are able to achieve 7% body fat off pigs feet and cracklins
For due diligence, ask if their relatives in other states have the same issue.

Where I work at the poor are mostly Hispanics so it's all the delicious but soo unhealthy Mexican food they eat that causes them problems.
Key is education on how these families can still eat healthier...but on their very low incomes. For many of these families, it's simply just easier and cheaper to buy the unhealthier foods. And...many of them live in areas that don't have as many grocery stores as nicer parts of town so they don't have access to fresh fruits/vegetables. Ex: A single mom lives in a poor neighborhood with no car and needs to feed her kids. Nearest grocery store is 5 miles away and requires getting a ride from someone or taking the bus. Or she can walk next door to Burger King and pick up a quick meal for her family. Which one you think she is gonna likely pick?

lsunurse is spot on here. We are actually getting way too accepting of being overweight.

It's pretty easy to not be obese.
