I had the same reaction you got. I caught some 10-12 kids on one of my properties swimming in the pool. I walked to the pool and asked them who gave them permission to swim here. They just calmly said "no one". They didn't care what I said. I threatened to call the police but it didn't faze them at all.

bikes are prone to get stolen in any neighborhood, anywhere. This isn’t the 1960’s anymore, lock your bikes up.

Should I have put it in the cab?

Bad thing was I had just spent $140 getting new tires put on it. After I got pissed about it I still went into Calvin’s to get some chicken salad.

I saw these yutes violating every traffic law known to man on the corner of Jefferson and Corporate around 3:30.

Traffic was jammed up pretty good as they casually crossed Jefferson. I figured they were up to no good.

LoL.
Around here, just a week or so ago, a friend had his push mower stolen out of his truck parked in a big parking lot at his work in broad daylight.

I caught a guy pulling on car door-handles at 3pm in my apartment complex one afternoon (Small place, maybe 24 parking spots overall located on Highland and barely south of LSU). Told him to frick off.

This. He literally looked at me, gave me a head nod, started walking away and checking more door-handles as he left.

Nah, she has a right to leave her bike in her truck. They don't have the right to just take things because they are unattended

Just don’t leave it in the bed if you plan on hanging on to it. Figure it out if you care about the bike. That’s true anywhere.

Y'all make fun of that, but it is truly sad. Black women, and some white, have to stop making the same damn mistakes over and over. There is plenty of evidence how those irresponsible actions turn out, but yet they do it anyways and get pissed about being in poverty or held down. Their own stupid decisions to have children out of wedlock holds them down, yet they bitch about not having opportunities which is complete b.s.

Police use bait cars to trap thieves.

I'd like to see them use other baits like a bike in a truck or a package on a porch.

Have a pepperball sniper waiting to light their arse up--in a nonlethal but entertaining to the public way-- as soon as they touch it. Post the videos.

Entertainment and deterrence for one low price.
