You know that usually means they just put a shitload of pepper in it. Not sure why eating somewhere north that has a "Cajun" themed food is thread worthy

I'm looking forward to the next thread when you eat at chili's and notice the Bourbon street chicken

The idea that Coonasses can't move somewhere and make a living selling dishes from downhome is stupid.

The Cajun Restaurant Texarkana in American Psycho was a real restaurant. Opened in 1982,

1983 article about the actual restaurant.

Also, Lincoln's Road House in Denver is very legit. I forget where the owner is from but it's south Louisiana for sure. I just haven't been since 2008.

A poboy from a place in Wyoming? I seriously doubt it.

It's so funny how insecure you Louisiana folk about your food..."Somebody made a good po boy outside of my state and is spreading Louisiana culture to a broader market?!?! frick THAT!!!"

It's not insecurity you fool. Part of what makes food unique from different regions is that ingredients and techniques make a difference. It tastes different.

If they made an actual poboy on actual poboy bread in other areas of the country, and not just fried seafood sandwiches, I'd be thrilled!

Edited because re-reading your comment is rustling my jimmies!

Hey cultureless frickquat from soulless California, if your state had any original food culture if it's own, I might be able to give you an example you could understand. But I'm going to have use another state for reference. Suppose I said I got an outstanding Philly Cheese Steak sandwich in New Orleans that was served with velveta cheese on rye bread. I would expect someone from Philly to point out that I had not actually eaten a Philly cheese steak.

California has more original and diverse food culture than Louisiana. Once you drop the cajun and creole food, Louisiana is just Mississippi and Alabama fried food

I think I know that place. It's downtown. The red beans were horrible.

----Oh yeah, and "diversity" is ALWAYS superior to well-made and good tasting.
