That can happen. Its a little like middle school around here.

Definitely surround yourself with positivity and deal with the present. I've learned I can deal with a lot of adversity just taking it one day, one hour at a time.

100% agree.

Except for right now. I might trade him for a 30 minute nap, if I could have him back once I wake up.

This phase is short lived. You'll miss it when it's gone.

I'm not telling you to leave. Just to try and stay positive. I also need to take my own advice.

I decided long ago that I wasn't going to have children unless and until I got married. That never happened. I'm 57 now, almost 58, and while marriage is still possible, children aren't.
I'm not going to father a child, then leave a woman to raise him after I stroke out.

There's no substitute for hearing "I love you, daddy."

Young folks who may be in doubt... if you're remotely normal, a child will be the best thing you ever bring into your life. It's a love that can't be duplicated by lovers, toys, or career success

I used to not want a kid, then softened my stance to "have to find the right partner" ... Long story short, I found that partner and have an 8 months old... Best thing ever. It's funny how something as simple as a smile from them can make an entire day.

I have two girls. As my mom said, “son, your grandfather had 5 girls and 1 boy. Guess who to care of him when he became too old to care for himself. It wasn’t his one boy!”.

I think if you poll most young men they would say "No kids for me, thanks..."

Then they have kids and cannot fathom life without them.

Happy Father's Day gents.

It’s really easy to do. Just raw dog and let it go. That’s the easy part. The rest takes time, love, and work. If you’re not ready to raise them right. Do NOT have them. Half of the population is full of kids that daddy shoulda pulled out

Just imagine how desolate, scary and hopeless society would be if too many people thought like this.

Thank god people like you are a very small fringe minority.

No...saying stuff like that implies that people that don't have kids (by choice, not by choice) will never really understand what love is because they are not a parent.

What I was saying is that it's different, really different. I loved my parents, truly loved them, deeply. But, my love and concern for my kids is so much greater it was inconceivable to me before having them.

At the most primal level, we are here to reproduce. It’s the reason that we exist.

We complicate it by questioning whether or not we should.
