Maybe you shouldn’t have better phrased your original post to something like “the love you have for a child is unlike any other love you can feel”
Huh?

Quit bitching. I don't have kids and it's pretty damn simple to understand that raising something from the time it's 20 I ches long and completely dependent on you is pretty damn different than marrying anlgher adult that you get along with.

Maybe I could’ve phrased it better. You can love coffee. Love your parents. Love your poodle. Love the beach. Etc. But you don’t understand how strong love can be until you’ve had a child. Better?
You’re such a miserable person

Dude you SUCK at reading comprehension.
His post was saying one cannot understand love in general unless they have a child.
THAT was the thing I was correcting. And others (that are PARENTS) also corrected in this thread.
His post implies that those of us without kids don't understand what real love is. Which that is some smug bullshite right there that is all.
Maybe learn some basic reading comprehension before you chime in next time champ.

No not better.
So now you are saying I can never grasp how powerful love can be? Just because I'm not a parent?
Try again

I saw a woman at Albertsons with 5 kids. All age 1-5. The gestation timeframe hardly even made sense. I have come to believe that there is a secret plan to breed out the Anglo at any cost and as soon as possible.

Fretting about overpopulation, is a perfect guilt-free— indeed, sanctimonious— way for "progressives" to be racists.

I agree with you but for me, my kids and wife were the catalyst that drove me to be as successful as I could be. I’ve never in my life had more motivation than to provide them with the best life possible.

It will happen, but mostly because Anglos have grown too selfish to prioritize family.

Life has given me a VERY VERY shitty hand lately so I've earned the right for a little misery right now.

I'm sure it is..but it's how I currently feel.
Life has beaten the hope out of me right now.

I agree. Think about the hands dealt to Steve Gleason, Elizabeth Smart and Steven Hawking. They got dealt 2-7 offsuit with 3 aces on the flop. Attitude is what you use to get out of misery and a shitty one allows you to wallow and stay in the misery.

Have 3 and they are amazing.
I honest don’t even know what my life would be without them.
Sure, at times, wish i were free to do whatever i wanted but in the end, they have made my life better and I’m glad i made those decisions

I hate to hear that and hope things get better for you soon. Directing that misery at others isn’t going to make you feel better though....it’ll actually do the opposite. Been there.

About the free time part. After Katrina, I had to move to another city for work away from my family for a few months. There were five others in the same boat. It was like summer camp for grown up married men the first few weeks hitting the bars every night. Then it was like, Can we just go home and have a beer?
I have twins in college. We had an opportunity to adopt brothers who are now 4 and 5. When making that decision I realized my happiest times were coaching my older kid's ballgames and other events involved in their lives. IT is not for everyone but it brings an incomparable form of fulfillment and happiness along with the extra worry and responsiblity.

I'm very sorry you feel this way. Just keep thinking about the positives you have. I know what you are going through is shitty, and I first hand know how hard it is when you feel like absolutely nothing is going right. And you're lonely and no one understands. But I do. I am going through the same thing and have been for years.
Try not to be bitter. There is hope. Things will get better. Getting mad at people here who make comments you don't agree with won't help. And when you show it upsets you they will just keep digging.
I do understand what you are going through plus some, if need someone to lean on you know how to contact me. I know I wish people would have offered me the same, so please don't take the offer as me being mean. I just don't want you to feel alone.

Thanks HC, you have always been kind to me but called me out when I needed it.
I’m not in a good place right now and this place only brings out the bitterness even more from me. Maybe I need a break from here. Take it easy OT
