Seems like overkill. I mean the guy in the turret in the lead vehicle? Were they expecting an airborne defense?

This looks like a raid on an al qaeda bunker. I don't know the specifics of this raid, but why was so much firepower needed?

They used a drone in the house

That's cute. The cops got to pretend like they were back in Iraq and Afghanistan.

I don’t blame them.

Have you listened to his lyrics? He’s a gangster rapper. I say take him at his word and expect him to go down in a hail of bullets.

Lol, they needed the equipment to prevent Diddy from sucking them off.

Because they have all the toys and training, but rarely get to use it. So they go overkill when they can and "justify" it as showing the force of the US Government as a deterrent. They don't really care that it makes them look ridiculous. It's an opportunity to play commando in a 1st world country

So that all the SWAT team guys can play make believe and go pewpew.

Seriously, that was ridiculous.

The militarization of police is absurd.

The feds jerk off over this. I think they had frogmen around Roger Stone's house. And the networks magically happened to be there.

I don't necessarily disagree. But lets play devil's advocate here.

You are raiding a billionaires house for human trafficking. Is there not a reasonable chance you could encounter one single person with a semi auto that doesn't want to be arrested?

Is that worth the risk of multiple officers being shot and killed?
