One of my security cameras caught a fellow poster working at my house:

Some kind of hat dance, if I had to guess.

What typically distracts you from getting things done at home? Whatever those things are, remove them as best you can.

I’ve been working from home for 10 years when not in the field. In my office I always enjoyed having the news on but on mute, and to be away from laundry/dishes/etc. If those were piling up I found it hard to focus on work.

Also, not getting on tigerdroppings and social media is a great start.

Make sure you have extra printer paper & ink
It sucks to have to run to the store when you are in the middle of something

Is this short term or long term?

Long term you will need more space than you think

A computer and the ability to vpn?

A place that has little distraction?

But I am not sure how you can good the burgers at home and have them ready for someone in the drive thru.

If you live with others and don't have a dedicated office space, some really good headphones.

Would also recommend still making the effort to shower and change into "work clothes" to retain a productive mindset.

Peace and quite, if your "ole lady" and kid are home too good luck.

Mine have been driving me crazy all morning.

I usually watch some documentary or somesuch on my phone as I work: Netflix/HBOGO/etc etc

This is actually a good point. Its easy to just throw on comfortable clothes, but eventually it makes you feel more lax and takes your focus from work away..
