Thoughts on the flu shot?

I’m a healthy, active, young(ish) male with a strong immune system.
My wife (no pics) is on my arse about not getting a flu shot knowing very clearly I don’t want to get one. I’ve never gotten the shot and also never had the flu. I’m around thousands of people every single day, and she says I should get it for those around me.
What are your thoughts? Am I being an unreasonable prick, or should I just say screw it and get one?

Just get it. It can lower your chances of contracting something that is a pain in the arse and you hardly feel the nanobots working in your body.

Sounds like you just don’t want to get it cause your wife wants you to, sounds like good reasoning.
We don’t care if you get the flu or not.
I get it free at work, doesn’t do anything to me. If it helps, al the better.

Do you even casually know anyone who's been hospitalized, much less died from the flu? Probably not.
Do you know anyone that's been killed in a car accident? I bet you do.
Given the stats provided by flu people on the deaths annually, you should know people that have died from the flu, but you don't.
are you 80 years old? no. you're not going to die from the flu.
After all that nonsense i just said, get a flu shot if it's convenient to you. If you don't, the likilhood of you dying from it is about as good as winning the mega millions tomorrow night.

Just lie and say you got the shot.
Its a win-win because if you get the flu you can tell her the shot didn't work and you can use that argument going forward.

why would you let anyone inject dangerous chemicals into your body? its obvious you're immune to the flu. You've never had it.

There is almost no point at all in getting the flu shot unless you want to spread the flu to other people around you.
