Superior isnt the right word....not idiotic is the right word. There is already problems in the house starting to develop and only one of the children have been born and the other has only been here 3 months. Its not a difference in "values" its having the common sense to not bring a child into a situation that's dumb emotionally and financially

I was 20, not married, no boyfriend.
My kid is 18 now, and I raised him every step of the way on my own, and on my own dime. Was it hard? Sure. Would I change it? Not on your life. It made me a better person. You can frick right the frick off. A woman isn’t helpless just because some idiot chose to run away from his kid.

That's truly amazing to hear and good on you and all the single parents out there that do for thier kids and make it work....but I'm gonna guess this wasnt your plan. The cousin I refer to in my post was 20 with a guy she was dating for a few months and trying to conceive.... her parents who she lives with were over the moon...I'm sorry, but I just cant understand that

The situation is not ideal, but I disagree with you about the moral implications of their reaction to her announcement. The choices are to be supportive, socially reject her, or suggest she consider adoption or abortion. It’s not immoral to be supportive of your friends and family.
