Thoughts on Honda Pilot?

Need a mid size SUV with a 3rd row. Don't want anything too big like a Tahoe. I've driven a Highlander, Traverse, and Enclave as rentals and I think that's a good size for us. Enclave was nice and probably my favorite of the ones I've had. Highlander had no leg room. The pilot looks to have what I want but I haven't been in a new one. Gas mileage seems the best of the ones I like too which is great. So for those who have one what do you like or dislike about it?

It's a minivan without sliding doors or legroom in the 3rd row.

I'd take the highlander.

How often do you need the 3rd row?
If you need to haul around people then just get the minivan. We got one and the amount of time it takes the wife and I to load up the kids (we have 3 kids 4 and under) is a whole lot faster then our friends who have Pilots and Highlanders. Press a button and all doors slide open. Older kid loads himself in the back and wife or I can quickly load the other 2 in the middle captain chairs.

Bmath is right.
Get a Chrysler Pacifica..More room and I think it looks better as well.

The Kia Sorento has a third row now. Im neither recommending it or recommending against it, just saying it's probably a lot of bang for the buck. Kias are pretty good now.

My wife had a 2016 and now a 2017 thanks to Mitch's nonworking pumps. We really like it... great ride and good gas mileage.

Bought a new Honda Pilot at the beginning of last year. We have 2 small kids (2 year old and 4 month old). Plenty of room. It gets about 21 mpg around Baton Rouge. Just took it to Gulf Shores. It got 27.7 MPG on average. We got the EX and added leather. The EX-L was the next step up but we didnt want the sunroof or nav. So we saved 4k and added leather for 900. The backup cam is great. The blind spot camera is great. the room is excellent. We fit everything for 2 kids and 2 adults just fine. I'm 6'4" and i sit comfortably in it. We have the third row but we have never used it up until this point. My only complaint, and it's totally a first world problem, is the touch screen is sluggish. it has great safety reviews, and you obviously can't beat the reliability of a Honda.

My mother in law has a Pilot and loves it. She doesn't use the 3rd row seating.

Get the Highlander.

They are nice but way overpriced

My wife, seen below, bought one about 6 months ago. I wanted her to get another Suburban, but she wanted something smaller. She loves it. It's too small for me, but I rarely drive the thing. I will say that it handles pretty well and gets good gas mileage. It's just my head hits the roof.

The Honda Pilot is the ultimate family vehicle.
Spacious. Not too big. Lots of cup holders. Seats fold down and move around easily. Honda's last forever.
Maybe not the most cool looking vehicle. But functionality is the best.
