Don't do it. I was a landman in Pecos TX for a year. Its hell on earth.
I have friend who are still doing it and they bitch about their job non stop. And the experience doesn't provide experience that is transferrable to other industries. ...

A lot of details are very important need to be drawn into the house plans. If not, they wont be able to be added later. Such as pocket doors or exposed beams.
Make sure your guest rooms are at least 12x12. Many standards are 11x11. The difference is larger than you think.

Scott Pernici did nothing wrong here. He found a way for the City of Shreveport to get an extra million a year in water bills. The city then breached on their contract to pay him. The city is the only ones at fault here.
Additionally, the city has been selling city contracts. Highly illegal. ...
