7000 with the 8 speed Rubicon.

which is about 50% more than 99% of people will ever tow. looking at NADA i think i could get about 16- 18K on my 2012 trade (wranglers hold their value incredibly well)

i'm going to wait until next year but for what we do with a jeep this looks like a winner. like i said before the game changer is being able to take the top pieces with you when you go, and taking the top off is half the fun of owning a wrangler

I wish they'd just called it the Scrambler since that's basically what it is.

My first car was a '82 Scrambler, glad they didnt disgrace the name with this...

Not to mention it is stupid easy to get invoice +1% deals on them. That really should be your baseline on any Jeep purchase. Forums are your friend.

I would think these are gonna go for sticker + for a while.

Also nurse is talking about how small the bed is , it’s 5’. Most full size crew cabs the bed is only 5.5’

A dealer that sponsors a Gladiator forum is offering 5% less than invoice plus an additional 1% for a FCA association (most larger companies offer this) and 1% for financing through the dealer.

ETA: I think 10%-11% off MSRP is a good ballpark figure.

I don’t see ADM for these. ADMs usually are for limited production (Porsche GTs) or slow production (gwagens). Jeep plans to sell the hell out of these.

I like Jeeps, preferably the 2 door version

I have owned a few Jeeps. Currently have a newer model 2 door after making a mistake and selling my old CJ. 4 door Jeeps aren't real Jeeps. They are mom SUVs.

It isn't my main vehicle FWIW because I don't think Jeeps make good daily vehicles.

Maybe they learned from the new Cherokee.

Not true. Anytime we’ve gone off roading the other jeeps we see on the trail are 90% 4 door ones.

I’d imagine the longer wheelbase make the 4dr more stable in rock crawling. True?

I think stability and the angles the longer wheelbase creates. Also, I think the longer wheelbase makes for a better ride when on pavement vs. 2 door.

It might be interesting when the Bronco comes out if all the hype on it becomes reality and not a let down.

Yeah people keep saying they aren’t good daily drivers and I disagree. At least the 4 door jeeps are. I’ve had mine for almost 6 years as my daily driver and it’s fine. I’m quite comfortable in mine. Have taken several long (12-18 hour) road trips in it as well and was still comfortable in it.

Why wouldn’t you want something fun to drive everyday?

People seem to think that Wranglers of today still drive like a Wrangler from 30 years ago. All pickups used to kind of suck as daily drivers too but these days most of them feel no different than your average SUV.

Isn't Jeep one of the worse manufacturers in terms of quality and repair?

Not really.

FCA of today is not making the massively gimped autos that DaimlerChrysler and Chrysler LLC (under Cerberus) were making. It's a different company that isn't purposely cutting corners with cheap plastic and junk bin parts (DC b/c Daimler was essentially raiding Chrysler for assets and Cerberus b/c that's what private equity companies tend to do).

As for this trucks off road capability

It seems like it's a beast.

Tricity in NC. Check out the Gladiator forum. One of their sales guys posts there.

A post today said 1% below invoice for the Launch. Ordering was pushed back until May evidentially.
