It’s not the worst gap I have seen. I don’t have any idea why a guy would do that though unless it’s only about the sex. Most women are pretty boring and vapid until their late 30s at least.

I’ve done that, she was twenty one, it worked well.
It does depend on the girl though. You’d want to date someone with a little bit of life experience.
It is much better than dating someone older, and it’s vastly better than being the fifth or sixth boyfriend. The quality of your relationship is much lower with older women who’ve dated a lot.

The different ages and gap is not the problem but a 19 year old person is not mature. I wouldnt want to bring a teenager along.
Now if she was late 20s or 30s and he was 40s 50s then no problem

I agree. I wouldn't want to put up with a 19 yr old in my mid 30s.
Even half my age + 7 is a bit younger than I'd ever want to date. What would I have in common with a 28 yr old at 42?

Unmarried women in their thirties? They tend to be very unhappy people. Especially as the possibility of children evaporates.
And they’ve had so many bad and broken relationships. That can leave a person in bad shape.
