Damn, now that takes me back. I remember the rawloods, but Pits doesn't sound familiar. Probably because I spent too much time in Fat City at McCallister Quarter!

Grew up in Metairie and ran all over town in that era. Never heard either of those terms. We had heybras, Zeebs, hardcores, preppies and jocks, etc, but not those.

The Chalmations were pits. Butt cuts, three quarter sleeve Ozzy concert shirts and jeans with a comb or brush sticking out of their back pocket. Never heard of "rawloods." Never.
