I get what you’re saying. Backroad driving in Louisiana is calming and relaxing.

Let’s say someone has traveled all over the country and several places outside of this country and still think Louisiana is beautiful?

What do you say about them?

Driving through Tennessee deep in the Smoky Mountains shits all over anything the parking lot of Louisiana can offer

Come at me

A sunrise/set in the marsh or flooded timber is one of the prettiest sight I've seen in nature. But unless you're in a boat or on the water, Louisiana doesn't have much aesthetically.

Those who don't appreciate the beauty of Louisiana have never driven La 1 through New Roads and Point Coupee Parish along the False River. Or been to Avery Island. Or seen the Vermilion Bay. Or Natchitoches. So much beauty in Louisiana. So little time

I love driving up the levee to get into Concordia parish. I also think our swamps are beautiful.

It’s trees. It’s fricking trees. There are beautiful areas of LA, but what you posted isn’t really unique, different, or special.

Much like the desert or wide open, vast spaces, Louisiana's beauty is peculiar and appeals only to a particular type.

Louisiana has absolutely gorgeous areas. The swamps and marshes a incredible when observed far away from human contact and in their natural beauty.

A road through a line forest can be pretty, but I’m not going to put it on a post card
