Louisiana does have some beautiful places, but I would have presented something like below instead of the random highway shot you took.
Examples that might have swayed people.
Kisatchie National Forest
Tunica Hills

OP posts a scenic shot of his drive home saying that all of LA isn't shite, litter, or the ghetto
OT: That shot sucks, here are some professional pictures of places I once visited.

But unless you're in a boat or on the water, Louisiana doesn't have much aesthetically
True in a sense, but that’s like saying Colorado is nothing without the snow peaked mountains.
One of my favorite serene moments that I always think fondly upon was when I had my little 16 ft. flatboat. 2 minutes away from my house I could back it down into the West Pearl and head on down river to the Rigolets/Lake Borgne. A light fog would be rolling across the river as I’d head out early each morning, and that scene was like heaven to me. A gator on the bank, a great blue heron wading in the shallows ...and minutes later I’d be at a spot where I could catch a bass on one cast and a redfish on the next. THAT is what makes Louisana beautiful (even in Slidell), and there are few places I’d rather be. Very few.

Those are very meh shots compared to Tennessee, Arkansas, Alabama, and so forth.
Louisiana's "unique", personal beauty would be more like Jean Lafitte's National Park:

It all depends on where you live and where you're from. I grew up here and hated it for the most part. I have friends that moved here from OK and are ecstatic about having trees in their yard. And friends from Colorado that love not dealing with snow 1/2 the year. I find a lot of beauty in the swamps, bayous, and marshes, but I'd take Colorado, Wyoming, or Montana any day of the week.
That being said, my drive home takes me through river delta that right now is covered with goldenrod, a herd of cattle with lots of new calves, and a few pecan orchards. It is very pretty.

Louisiana is a very beautiful state if you know where to look. Most of the state is just ruined by trash

I know exactly where that is, that’s Swan Lake Rd. in Bossier, halfway between Bossier City proper and Benton.
Na. That's across the bayou from 77 in iberville parish.

I also think our swamps are beautiful.
I forget about Jean Lafitte Park as well. Really swampy & gorgeous. I like dank places!

Me too. Florida is a big swamp.

Jean Lafitte National Park is awesome. Been going there for around 30 years. Got some awesome pics over the years.
