I loved serving as an aircraft maintenance senior leader in a unit with a tactical mission. It's really hard to beat.

I'd argue most civil engineering jobs are pretty awesome.

As long as you steer clear of design-build projects. Contractors treat the engineer like garbage.

Data analytics and reporting for a large bank.

“Love” is a strong word, but I do like it. Feels good when you can “make something complex work” and tell a coherent story about what you’ve found.

Hunting guide. Done it my whole life, in my 60s now, couldn’t imagine doing anything else.

Start in sept end in Feb.

I do contract property management between March and August. It has its moments, but all in all it’s very enjoyable.

Director at public accounting firm. I do consulting and data work mostly focused around tax systems.

It pays well, has a lot of perks, and is always something different. If I’m not mentally stimulated I slack off so I like it

My title is Annuity Case Manager.

So I do everything behind the scenes if you apply for life insurance or an annuity for the annoying agents. I manage new business, do contracting, commissions, licensing, and whatever else they need.

Used to work in premium finance insurance before this which was super interesting because everyone was insanely rich so I like to learn everything about everyone.

Human Resources (Payroll).

Loved it for 14 years. It worked well with my OCD.
Now, my whole management changed and now it's hell.

I am the guy that applies sand to the buttocks of super models to make it appear like they have been sitting on the beach. I also sometimes spray water on super models to make it appear like they have been working out. It's a tough job, but I do love it.

Self-employed. I sell specialized packaging materials to consumer goods manufacturers. You interact with my products when you buy Tabasco or Crystal hot sauce. I love what I do and can’t imagine ever completely walking away.

IT director - the personnel management part of my role is 'ok' but if I couldn't stay in a hands-on role with tech, I wouldn't like it as much as I do.

I work in content and media sales in the healthcare and pharma industry. I work fully remote, essentially run my own book of business, make great money, and am leveraging knowledge and contacts I built over my twenty years in pharma markerting/advertising.

Veterinarian. Like i said in the other thread i love my job but its a job none the less. i work in a very specific field of vet-med. i love the work and 100% believe in my mission. its not my passion though. if money was no object i would transition to zoo medicine. that would be my dream.
