Severe mental illness and drug use tend to be tops on the list of reasons why people are homeless.
John Doe looking to fix his life can typically crash with someone for a while so he can work and build up money.
Randy Baw looking to get fricked up on someone else's dime, not so much.

After the first assault there they will get sued.

They are homeless for a reason. Very seldom is it a good one. You give them nice things, all it does is incentivize that behaviour.

It’s probably out of desperation. IDK if the homeless men are gay any more than men who have sex in prison are gay.

I applaud these folks for the efforts. Their hearts are in the right place, but I think reality will ruin everything.
