This is why you never stay in your Vehicle if it breaks down on a highway.

Everyone else manages to see it but only takes one not paying attention. Thankfully no one was in the truck. LINK

Dipshit could have stopped on the shoulder and NOT on the highway. fricking idiot.

It's amazing how terrible of drivers people are

He hit a deer that disabled his truck, nothing he could do but abandon ship.

Holy shite! How the hell did they not see it. They slowed down.. It almost looks like they did it on purpose, but I would think the only reason a person does that is because the vehicle will not move. They can push it off to the side but couldn't that be just as dangerous?

That dude in the big rig was not paying attention at all
Posted on 6/3/22 at 9:01 pm to FLObserver
That truck doesn’t look like it was paying attention. Never even tried to miss it

Part of it I bet is because silverados don’t have blinkers that are separate from the tail lights. People not paying attention glance uo and catch the truck between blinks or when it goes from on to off, then continue not paying attention.
I see something similar when people pull out in front of you. They look just king enough to see you’re far away, but not long enough to see how fast you’re going.

This was from the Netflix show "Shot in the Dark" that followed several Stringers as they did their freelance journalism work in LA.
The guy that was filming put his camera down immediately and rescued the guy in the burning car. One of the crew filming him helped, as well.
YouTube
You can see the full video and how it all played out in the first episode of the show. It was a really good show, but didn't get picked up for a second season. It may have been a little too real.

I don’t think they’re gonna be able to buff that out.
Posted on 6/3/22 at 9:46 pm to KirbySmartass
Maybe pop a dent and a buff
Posted on 6/3/22 at 9:50 pm to FLObserver
This is so true. Instead of “buckle up” on every freeway sign should be “if you can steer it, clear it” … people do this shite all the time in Atlanta.

The stupid MF left the door open to, what an idiot.

If you abandon your vehicle in the middle of the interstate you deserve to have it obliterated.

Posted on 6/3/22 at 10:20 pm to NOSTRODAMUS

Did you actually watch the video? As someone who has hit multiple deer, and had one deer hit me, that truck did not hit a deer.
He ran out of gas.

Used to see this in Houston all the time. Never anywhere else

What the hell is that blue and pink English bus?
Posted on 6/3/22 at 11:45 pm to FLObserver
That is not very much damage to disable a truck. Maybe he could of moved it and didn't and after it got hit well not like they can prove him wrong as fricked up as it is now.
