Many more white are killed by police because there are many more white people in this country. Do you not understand proportionality? Seriously, this thread and most posters here belong on the Poliboard. That's our crazy filter.

Well what do you expect. Black Americans thought that he was going to lead them to the promised land. Remember the interviews with blacks after he won? There were large numbers who actually thought it was going to be "payback" for the oppression suffered.

Lincoln was definitely the most divisive ever and his actions caused a lot of people, both military and civilian, to lose their life but most people would say that it was worth it and we are a better and stronger nation because of it.

I was at Publix the other day looking for that cheap sushi cabinet. The only dude I saw working was an Asian guy, I didn't ask. My fear of pissing him off asking him where the sushi was led me on a five minute search. That is how stupid this shite is, yeah it was my idiocy, but a lot of us are tiptoeing around trying to appear not racist. Which only makes us look more racist and to think about race or ethnicity when it is dumb or counterproductive to do so
