LOL at anyone who thinks this wouldn't be happening at the same magnitude if he weren't president.

Every President wants to leave a legacy. They want to make their mark.

He's officially left his legacy as bringing racism to an all-time high or at least back to the days of slavery.

GTFO of office already

I voted for him his first term. I saw the writing on the wall (nothing to do with social or racial divide) and didn't vote to reelect him for his second term.

I have friend's (mostly white) that, to this very day, think he is the fricking greatest ever. Every time Obama ghetto's it up and starts taking jabs at anyone and does his bullshite giggle, they have to repost it and talk about how wonderful he is.

The real minority group in this country now are intelligent people that want it to succeed. The majority of the country are stupid people so obsessed with watching the fire that they will burn the ground under their feet. Idiocracy is becoming a documentary faster than originally thought.

This and only this.

First of all -- more white people are killed by cops every single year than blacks.

Hmm, that kind of fricks up the racial undertones a bit?

Secondly, the MAJORITY of these issues, come when the black CRIMINAL is resisting arrest.

Why must we always leave out the facts? The child rapist on parole, was in possession of an illegal firearm. Said felon knew for certain that he was going to jail. He did not want to go to jail.

HE RESISTED ARREST.

This is not a race incident. This is a criminal who refused to listen to the cops. This is a man who had a gun on his person but would not stop moving.

The facts used to be important. Now it is "Who can make the first asinine statement" "Who can set the tone that this is a murder, only to backtrack in tiny tiny print about what really happened."

Wake up country... it is certainly time to wake up.

So the great black hope making racially divisive comments doesn't encourage it?

Why don't we have any black cops coming out against these shootings?

Carter was a disaster - but - his heart was in the right place and his intentions were good - he was just misguided.

OTOH - barry's intentions are to "fundamentally transform" America - and we now have 7.5 years of his attempts to judge whether those intentions are good or bad - any objective assessment must conclude that he dislikes America and our exceptionalism and is working to damage the country.

There is no BLM movement without at least tacit support from the Obama administration.

You can keep your head in the sand and deny this all you want. Doesn't make it any less true.

I can't understand how you can twist what the President said into "stirring all this shite up." Everything he said seems calm and reasonable. What in the world do you have a problem with? This seems more like a Poliboard-level quality of thread.

I don't think that there could be any objective doubt that he came into office believing that we, as a nation, needed to be taken down a peg. And THAT is what he meant by "fundamental transformation".

The real question is why anyone elected to the highest office in the land would feel that way in the first place.

Well for one, Barry's numbers are wrong. Many more whites kilt by po-po than blacks. So it could be argued that Barry is a race-baiting dumbshit:

quote:

According to the Guardian’s tally, of the approximately 1001 people killed by police this year in America, 502 were white, 250 were black, 163 were Hispanic/Latino, 18 were Asian/Pacific Islander, 13 were American Indian, and 54 were other/unknown.

Liberal 101: Numbers can be manipulated to show whatever fits your narrative.

Ex. unemployment numbers going "down" to show more people working but really just due to less people trying to work.

I'm guessing you're a Bernie voter and most likely on foodstamps especially if you can't see what he said was anti-police.

Here is another:
quote:

what's clear is that these fatal shootings are not isolated incidents. They are symptomatic of the broader challenges within our criminal justice system, the racial disparities that appear across the system year after year,

And then you have the bumbling idiot VP chiming in:

quote:

Vice President Joe Biden also weighed in Thursday, saying he has "more anger I share with the country" over the incidents.
"More black lives lost. More anger I share with the country. More broken trust we have to restore. We all must do this," Biden tweeted.
