I mean it's high fashion, of course it's feminine and weird.

Laugh...that shite will be in Target in 2-3 years. I was in Paris several yrs ago when I saw $1000 women's shoes with chrome spikes on them. Now you see them on flip flops here 4 yrs later.

My mother used to run a Male Model Agency in NYC, and those were some of the grouchiest men around because the poor bastards were always hungry. One of them did teach me how to take off 20 pounds in 2 weeks though...guaranteed.

I’ve always assumed that the people responsible for high fashion trends are psychopaths with a sense of humor.

There’s no way anyone could come up with that stuff if you didn’t despise other people and take joy from making them humiliate themselves for your amusement.

I used to date someone that was a model and learned a lot about the industry. The clothes you see here will not leave the runway to be commercially produced.

Its a walking art show. Its ugly to us but remember, art is subjective. There is a name for designers to show off their ready to wear clothes that will actually be sold in stores and that's called a Pret-a-Porter show. Think Michael Kors, Tom Ford, Tommy Hilfiger, etc.

add a healthy dose of the gay and yep.

Most of these designers live in an echo chamber of their own creation and need the publicity. So the more outlandish their shite is, the more publicity they receive. But in reality, what you see in those photos are like the "concept cars" of the 80s and 90s that got everyone talking (Pontiac Banshee). Design elements from the concept gets incorporated into the everyday (90's Pontiac Firebird)

so, next year, you'll see some of that shite in Saks and Nieman Marcus.
In about two years, you'll see those trends show up in Belks, Target, Macys, etc
