We've ditched seed oils at our house about 2 years ago. Restaurants must use the shite out of them because my BP is always a bit higher for 2-3 days after we eat at a restaurant.

This might also help... https://www.livescience.com/human-behavior/citation-cartels-ghost-writing-and-fake-peer-review-how-fraud-is-causing-a-crisis-in-science-and-what-we-can-do-about-it-opinion.... because from my understanding this is another where studies on Glysophates and seed oils may come into question.

Glyphosate is a widely used herbicide, and "ghostwriting" refers to the practice where company employees, like those from Monsanto, secretly write scientific papers that are published under the names of independent researchers. This unethical practice has raised concerns about the integrity of research and regulatory decisions regarding glyphosate's safety.

It really isn't. bullshite is your pisspoor ability to research.

Eggs contain small amounts of omega-6, and they’re balanced with saturated fat, monounsaturated fat, omega-3s (especially in pasture-raised eggs), plus cholesterol, choline, and antioxidants. The omega-6 load isn’t remotely comparable to refined seed oils.
They can contain significant amounts depending on what they are fed, most table eggs available are many times higher than that cherry-picked, and frankly just plain wrong, 0.6g per large egg stat you thought you could get away with. As with everything in life, the best is found in moderation.

Well no shite, Sherlock, that's the same with any animal on this planet. But we're also discussing averages, not outliers on both sides.

Measured linoleic acid (omega-6) in whole egg at about 1.38 g per 100 g of whole egg. Note that 100 g whole egg = ~2 large eggs worth, or .69g per egg tested.

I grew up watching my grandfather fry bacon, cook eggs in the grease, and then put the skillet in the fridge for breakfast the next day.
Pretty sure he made it to 90.
Pretty much all our parents and grandparents did that….but when you take an honest look, very few of them made it to 90. Most of us still don’t live to 90.
I am not sure there is any evidence at all for choosing seed oil Vs. Animal fats. They are all shitty for you and any effort to show that one is worse than the other is just an effort to make some particular industry rich.

Very cool share…

Your great-grandmother cooked with lard because it was the lowest cost oil at the time and that's what humans used for millennia.

Some of you are straight up obtuse, morons. It's the deceit that's the issue. Lying that something is healthy, or at minimum, healthier than something else, while it being a total lie. That's the issue.
When most of it started and happened, they didn’t know the present day causes and effects of seed oils nor lard. They were trying to sell something. I’m
Not sticking up for them.
I don’t think it’s that hard of a sell when people weren’t as educated that a seed oil could be healthier than an animal fat boiled down.

Can someone explain to me why yall can’t get off this topic?
It makes people feel better to blame some characteristic or label on food for why they feel like shite, when they consume 4500 calories a day and haven’t seen the inside of a gym in 15 years. Switching from canola to bacon grease is easy, weights and lean protein are hard.

How do we jump from “cotton seed oil has a toxin unique to cotton seeds,” to “all seed oils are toxic”? I understand the difference with cold pressing as a preferred process for extraction, but why would all seed oils be tainted by the history regarding cotton seeds? Just trying to understand how broad the brush is here.

Exactly this.
Exercise, eat in moderation; maintain a healthy lifestyle.
It really isn't difficult.

Well that’s a convenient shift of the goal posts.
So you think the “industry” has faked all of these genetic studies?
If we are using your standards why don’t you post the non industry funded studies that say LDL doesn’t cause heart disease
