Were you aware that the definition has been altered to suit the informal use of it?

It makes sense, as the definitions of words SHOULD be dynamic. If enough people use it one way, thats the way it should be. Thought it was funny.

It's not funny and shouldn't be changed. That's literally retarded.

It was bound to happen. So many morons soon might be calling shite honey, and we’d just change the definition. I’d go on, but I have to take a honey.

Went to an open mic night at a bar in Asheville NC, and this gay guy carrying a notebook heads to the stage. I though, "Oh, shite, he's going to read a poem or something lame."

He then proceeds to kill me with laughter by imitating a young female who says literally or like multiple times in every phrase she utters, while constantly scrolling on her phone. One of the funniest things I've ever seen.

Right, of course, because words really should mean nothing.

What a stupid take

About as bad as the abuse of the word “awesome”.

Same thing happened to the word "meme". I agree that language should evolve but when the change is born out of ignorance of the original meaning of the word, I'm not so sure I agree that the definition should change.
