The guy that posted that is self proclaimed to be a "race baiter"
How is he any better than the opposition. Kid didn't even say anything negative/racial to him. He was upset with the system/his place of business. He hit his computer because something didn't work and that is racist how?
Didn't say ANYTHING racial yet this guy records him and tried to get him to admit to being a racist? People like this should be condemned just as bad as anyone else.
Disgusting. He will without a doubt lose his job. Hopefully his first victim is this guy. jk

2) The clerk has been failed by society. This is the product of participation trophies

Does it make people feel good about themselves to pick on weaker people? I've shown up to a hotel with a reservation I made weeks in advance on a website booking service just to find out my room wasn't available. Most of the time, the hotel clerk can't do anything for you. But that's why you call the customer service line, and they'll always make it right for you if they fricked up. Hell, they'll usually find you an upgraded suite at another hotel close by if they can. There's ways to work out your problem without being a screaming a-hole. Karen's come in all forms, even black dudes.

Yeah, I may have made a snap judgement. I don’t know what kind of provocation this guy was giving (especially in light of his proclamation to be a race baiter) before he turned the camera on.
But I mean, seriously, if you can’t handle customers without spazzing out, don’t work in customer service.

It looks like the source of the video is from Tariq, who is probably the biggest racist on twitter. I don't understand why Ian, who I like, would even post his material.
Where has compassion gone? If I saw a person in stress and losing it at work, I'm not reaching for my phone to put them on blast via the internet. I am going to try to help them by showing them a little extra kindness or patience. But I guess that's just frowned upon.

Absolutely. And he definitely needs to be removed from that position, but he doesn't need to be provoked or put on blast like that. He could have talked that guy down a little and then maybe spoken to a supervisor if he felt it was necessary. I just don't find joy in exposing people losing their minds.
IDK if Tariq is behind the film or not, but it's definitely his sourced video. He is very much an instigator. His whole twitter is about hating on white people.

I agree but I don't think a right minded individual would pick up a computer monitor and bash his own head in with it. I was shocked he didn't turn on the recorder and try to smash his head.
