This drunk driving crash is brutal. Why I have no problem with DUI laws strictly enforced.

YouTube set at 2:15 mark

Happened at the beginning of this month in California between LA and San Diego.

Big 2500 Heavy duty going 100 MPH right up into the midsize altima's arse. Car was completely vaporized and it also wrecked a couple other cars as well. Poor woman never had a snowball's chance in hell of surviving that. You can see the body laid out dead as it gets as the car pulls up.

And the tPOS Drunk Driver is actually trying to get away too but is too drunk and falls down and collapses next to the other side of the road.

Turns out the drunk driver had a prior incident several months earlier in November in Washington State. He fled from police for 17 miles for drunk driving, ran on foot, finally got caught, & only received 2 months of jail time. 6 months later, he’s at it again, but ends up killing someone this time.

This a-hole robbed an innocent family of a mother and wife forever.

There's a special place in hell for drunk drivers and god damn you if you get behind the wheel after drinking or know someone is D&D and you don't stop that driver.

Agree with you except would it be better if the driver was just wreckless or reading his phone ? We don’t need special laws but laws that punish actions, not possibilities. What of some one who is 1.1 but drives better than a distracted mom and never has an accident ? Punish the results of behavior, not what could happen

If you kill somebody while drinking and driving the penalty should be punishable up to life in jail/ death penalty.

It would send a clear message to these fricks.

What was his BAC?

I agree in enforcing laws, but major difference between .09 and >.16

We do.

We have laws against driving while being drunk.

There's, that's a law that punishes an action.

Always seems like the person a drunk driver hits is more likely to die than the driver themselves.
Wonder why that is. (Not in this case in particular, but in general)

Drunk enough to go 100+ MPH and kill someone and severely injure a few other innocents.

I'm more of a zero tolerance to strict enforcement kind of guy and not really into caring about differences here when there's hundreds of other innocent people involved.

And stiff penalties for a DUI, and even more when injuries to innocent parties are involved.

Kinda why I hate that DWI checkpoints are advertised. If you drive drunk, you deserve to be in jail.

Sadly there are Tards on this board who think it's ok to drink and drive. Cops are being dickbags by having check points.

But the OT is what it is.
