You literally just posted an article that has a title of "Abolish drunk driving laws".

Perhaps if you read the article you would comprehend it. I mean, we both know that isnt going to happen though.

Oh no, a bunch of drunks are getting defensive and doing silly shite like germansing, calling for drunk driving laws to be abolished and calling people who support them nanny staters.

What will I ever do?????

Apparently you'll keep arguing instead of making the wise decision and limp away and let it die. Keep it up though, I enjoy making fun of preachy idiots.

Why would I want to read an article that wants to do something I don't support?

You're the one that came in here all guns blazing being defensive over drunks and calling for drunk driving laws to be abolished.

And you think I should limp away?

Just offering a suggestion. Like I said, I certainly dont think you are intelligent enough to take it.

Drunk driving needs infinitely stiffer punishments than are currently on the books.

Same for distracted driving.

And I'm telling it to get fricked.

You're talking about intelligence when you're a drunk who wants to abolish laws against drunk driving.

I'll give you credit though. Drunks on the OT usually hide or just downvote away. You're one of the rare few that's honest enough to pretty much come out and state what he and his fellow drunks really want.

I can respect that.

But it's still fricking stupid and will be righteously shite on.

You're wrong. And are you saying you don't support tough penalties for drinking and driving? Damn.

quote:

For more than two decades the Foundation for Advancing Alcohol Responsibility has been leading the fight to eliminate drunk driving and underage drinking. During this time drunk driving fatalities have declined 31% and among those under 21 the number of fatalities has decreased 65%.

That tends to happen when you use logic instead of feelings. And you can keep calling me a drunk all you want. Doesnt change that I dont drink and that I still dont condone or support drunk driving.

But you keep on being you, ignorant and proud of it.

I would say both have contributed but would also guess the threat of a ton of time in jail has been a huge deterrent.
Are you suggesting that a decline in drunk driving is solely attributable to education? LOL, if so link please.

And yet we're still dumb enough to legalize weed. Most folks can't drive as it is.

There is nothing logical about eliminating punishments for a dangerous, selfish and reckless action in drunk driving.

29 people per day in the United States die in motor vehicle crashes that involve an alcohol-impaired driver. This is one death every 50 minutes. The annual cost of alcohol-related crashes totals more than $44 billion per year.

And you think laws against drunk driving should be abolished?

Two points here.

1.) Driving while high on weed will be treated the same as drunk driving.

2.) Weed will never kill as many people directly in ten years as alcohol as killed indirectly in a month. Have you ever heard of someone dying from a weed overdose?

Alcohol is a much more dangerous and deadly drug than weed will ever be and is capable of being.

Law deters those that will also follow less strict laws. More strict laws dont change anything. Instead of decreasing accidents as hoped, it turns into an avenue for revenue generation by the government. That's all DUI laws do as they stand. They just bend you over for a big chunk of change and then hamper you actually making a positive change by haunting your record.

It's just common sense.

Once again, you cant comprehend a simple point. Go back and actually read what I've said for once.

So we already have tough laws on drunk driving and it still happens that often? And you think more laws are the answer? I just cant help your kind of stupid.

People in the YT comments are saying the dude is an illegal alien. Any truth to that?

Also here's a pic of the woman killed. I think she was likely thrown from the car:

She had kids as well.

I hope they execute this motherfricker
