It's comparing at the same age as well, boomer. Which has been repeated through this thread numerous times.

Now overlay that or normalize it by the number of people in each group.

Part of the difference is driven by numbers of people.

Plus, we're just nihilistic enough to take them both with us when we decide we've had enough.

Yeah, this definitely has a huge effect. More people in college than before, more people needing access to materials and resources. Costs go up.

Like in the crawlspace under the house where the cops can find me or a space the cops have to actually enter the house to get into?

Ok doesn't make my point any less valid. Boomers should actually know how shitty it is to start pointless wars and have the younger generations fight in them.

In 2017 there were just as many millennials as boomers

You must be a boomer with your inability to interpret a simple graph.

I would still think most millennials are spending significantly more of their money on cell phones, cable, streaming services, iTunes, etc. than the yare on medical care at age 35; the college tuition and more people going to college than ever before is still a good point against being able to save by living like it's '75

The economy is also more complex. You need more education and training to make an economic contribution in 2019 than you did in 1979. While there are still cases of people doing well for themselves with nothing but a high school diploma, the number of people who can pull that off continues to decrease because the opportunities are just not there. Employers need educated employees now more than ever before and that trend shows no sign of ending.

That training is not necessarily a 4-year college degree and many Millennials have gotten worthless (non-STEM) college degrees, but that doesn't negate the underlying phenomenon.

Tough shite!

Those snot-nosed shite stains are always acting like they have all the solutions.

Oh wait, Millennials are the generation that keeps pushing Socialism. Well now, you geniuses just keep voting Bernie.

Why are you worried about wealth. You plan to share all of yours anyway.

"Those mean old Boomers are keeping all that money THEY WORKED FOR!"

well no shite boomers are way up there.
They have Bill Gates, the Waltons, Jeff Bezos, Warren Buffet, the Koch's, the Mars family, i mean shite if you take out Zuckerberg, just about everyone on Forbes list of wealthiest americans are boomers. Only 8 of the top 100 richest people in America aren't boomers.

Has it been brought up that the generations prior to the baby boomers went through a decade long depression and two world wars, thus those generations of wealth was not that high to begin with , making the baby boomer wealth percent higher

I'm a solid Xer. When I got out of college the economy was in the shitter and people were getting laid off left and right. This is probably the best economy the country has ever had. I'd love to see the Millenials face the kind of recessions that the Xs and Boomers both had to face. And it's always someone else's fault with this generation.
