I'm a solid Xer. When I got out of college the economy was in the shitter and people were getting laid off left and right. This is probably the best economy the country has ever had. I'd love to see the Millenials face the kind of recessions that the Xs and Boomers both had to face. And it's always someone else's fault with this generation.

It's not that linear. It's far more complex than that. Some light reading on economics and finance will help.

I try to wade into these generational waters with a sense of reason, but I feel I must say this:

anyone with MORE money than me is a trust fund carpetbagging turd who has never worked a day in their life. anyone with LESS money than me is a lazy bum who just wants a handout.

I do not find this take to be unreasonable.

I would still think most millennials are spending significantly more of their money on cell phones, cable, streaming services, iTunes, etc. than the yare on medical care at age 35

Average cost for a 35 year old family healthcare is approximatly $3k/yr per adult, so like $6k.

Kaiser Health

Figure $100/month for cable/internet and another $100 for cell phones, and say $50 for streaming services. Even then youre looking at $250/month x 12 months=$3000.

Thats way less than $6k/year, excluding kids. Even including only health insurance premiums I am at $360/month x 12 months= $4,320 which is still more than $3,000.

No, the doctors who invented the medicines and medical equipment keeping people alive are not Millennials.

Your statement is ludicrous.

Almost as ludicrous as suggesting doctors are "inventing medicines and medical equipment."

Those snot-nosed shite stains are always acting like they have all the solutions.

Oh wait, Millennials are the generation that keeps pushing Socialism. Well now, you geniuses just keep voting Bernie.

Why are you worried about wealth. You plan to share all of yours anyway.

"Those mean old Boomers are keeping all that money THEY WORKED FOR!"

The funny thing is, Boomers were simply in the right place at the right time. They benefited from their father's saving the world and kick starting the American economy which the boomers solely benefited from then and still do today. They work no harder or have any better habits than millennials do today, and I would bet millennials today work harder and are way more efficient than boomers due to the increase in competition in the workforce.

Yet, boomers have the audacity and arrogance to somehow ridicule millennials. It is very entertaining to watch that unfold in forums such as this.
