Very true that's why i only go to Destin in the spring and fall. The hell with all the big crowds and traffic.

We did Fort Morgan this year. So maybe not quite as white nor water quite as clear but absolutely no crowds on the beach. Has been great. Arrived Saturday at noon and remainder of day was perfect weather. Rain early yesterday morning but from 10 am thru remainder of day was great. Low 80’s, nice breeze, partly cloudy so sun wasn’t beating us down. Today was very rainy but we still were able to get some decent beach time from about 3 pm til sunset. Who knows what tomorrow will bring but we will make the most out of whatever we get. This morning during the rain, we sat out on front covered deck and played board games with the kids and watched the rain and the waves crashing in. Still beats being at work.
And we don’t waste time or money going to eat out. Grilled burgers and dogs and we were set.
