This is the easy way out...and the coward's way. You have to look at all lives here. What douche bag is going to come along to marry the chick and want to raise a child that was a 2/3-night-stand? She's going to want financial support. Your brother is not about to throw 2 grand a month at something that he gets no return on. Help raise the kid and love it. And yes...he needs a divorce. That does not mean he needs to marry the mistress, though. The kid is going to need a father.

quote:

Take the mistress and move away and raise the kid together.

This classic "move from your problems" and it will get better. I did this as a younger dude. The situation and the city is not the problem; it's how you feel about yourself and others. I would NOT do this.

quote:

Walk away from it all and just fight for visitation rights on weekends.

Probably the logical solution.

The grandmother of the mistress needs to STFU. Grandparents have ZERO rights over any parent, unless said parent is not fit. Your brother made a mistake, but he sounds like a reasonable and hardworking dude who made a mistake. The grandmother is absolutely 100 percent obsolete in this.

The parents are what they are. They are God-fearing Baptists who forget that they are living in 2018. Shake 'em off. Do not feed into the dad's wrath. Kill them with kindness.

The mistress sounds like a spoiled little brat. She's going to need help with the kid and if your brother does not step up (option 3), they are guaran-fricking-teed to be raised by the mistress's mother. I assure you. They'll basically let the daughter have "visitation rights".

Happens every day. This is why family and divorce lawyers make a killing.

First off, your "wonderful" brother is going to and should lose his job. No company needs a dumb arse who can't keep his pecker in his pants making important decisions that effect others.

Secondly, your sister in law is going to rape your brother.

Lastly, your brother ruined his life.

Congrats, hope the pussy was amazing.

I’m just sitting here LOLing at all of the fricking irony

The OP is pissed off at the mistress’ parents for claiming to be ‘christian’ yet they aren’t acting like it

However, his brother proceeded to wreck two families (potentially 3 if you include the broad from work and the frick trophy with aforementioned brother) all the while being a ‘christian’ and a ‘family man’ yada yada yada

I bet OP likes making all kinds of dindu jokes on the OT, yet this is the white guy version of ‘dindu nuffin’

Get a fricking reality check dude... your brother is a POS, HE was in the wrong, not his future in laws

Which of your parents passed the MORON gene on to you and your brother? Both of you should go get a vasectomy. Best advice I can offer either of you.

The Golden Rules of workplace relationships:

1. Only bang people that are above you in the hierarchy. That way you can claim that you were coerced by their authority if shite hits the fan.

2. If you are a CEO or own your own business, you're SOL.

3. If you're married, don't be a shite bag and cheat on your spouse.

Of all that drama, why waste the key strokes on this fact? My parents have a key to my house, so what?

Also, most probably scenario:

Brother gets fired under a cloud that will probably hurt his chances of finding a comparable job. Mistress will wise up, get an attorney to allege sexual harassment by brother and sue company. She should get a nice cushy settlement out of it. She will also sue Brother for child support.

Brother still has to deal with divorce, alimony and child support to ex wife.

He is already fired if the CEO finds out...I'm just saying that you should roll the dice. CEO isn't going to help him find another job

Dude got a subordinate preggers. You can't do that and keep your job. Best play might be to actively look for a job now before the CEO finds out.

You have a whole lots of judgement in your OP. You think you know the situation 100% because your perfect brother told you so?

I'm willing to be there is about 3 sides of this situation you have no clue about.

Second, my brother has two kids with his first wife and cheated on her and it took him years to halfass repair the damage he caused his wife and kids including his ex's parents, who talked shite about him alot.

If you think the parents(both current wife and the mistress) are not gonna be upset about it you are delusional.

And there is no way in hell you know what the mistress and parents are saying to each other. No way.

I know this, if I knew some upstanding servant of a church had an affair I would out him. Obviously he is not what he has made himself out to be and should not taint the church with his presence until he repents to God and the church he serves. What a good man would do.

No. His job is safe. He just called me and told me he and the mistress both went in and talked to the boss. I don't want to say anymore about that topic because it's not the fault of his company and I don't want to drag them into it. They're a small/medium business with a couple hundred employees. It's not Microsoft or Apple. (Intel's CFO just got fired for this very thing, by the way).

I mainly just wanted OT baller advice on the mistress and how you playas would handle that.

And LOL @ the sanctimonious people in this thread. You guys act like an affair is equal to murder. I got news for you: Over 50% of all marriages in America fail with infidelity being quite common. Stop acting like this is some unheard of travesty. Half you baws complaining probably have a side piece as we speak.

No one is acting like this. What they are doing is calling your brother a POS for doing this to his wife and kids and calling you a pussy for having your feelings hurt that the side piece's parents aren't exactly thrilled that their daughter got knocked up by her married boss

Until it gets around to the wrong people. Local media and public outcry can change any decision. Make sure your brother is wise enough to not piss off people any more than they are...

Or, they are saying your brother sucks arse for doing it. Look, if you want to throw numbers out there, look at the number of abortions in this country. Does that make abortion right? Tell him its ok his marriage failed because half of them do... and it's ok to kill his new child because half of america is ok with that too.

If he's been having an affair with this lady for some period of time, and she works for him, and he knows the parents and brother, then I assure you he already knew their level of involvement in their daughter's life, and none of their current actions should surprise him (or you).
