We leave on the 12th and are staying in Rhododendron near Mt Hood.

At the end of the trip we're staying in Portland for 2 nights to spend a day at Cannon Beach.

Portland, Oregon, is known for having the highest number of strip clubs per capita in the United States. One study found that Portland has more than twice as many strip clubs as public restrooms.

What he said. We flew into Portland to go to cannon beach. It was epic. Some of prettiest sights I’ve ever seen. Portland the city was awful. Worst city I have ever been in

Used to be a pretty city but COVID, no laws, legalized drug abuse and no laws to enforce made that an urban waste land of zombies and Antifa clowns.

I went a few years before Covid and it already riddled with zombies.

It was my least favorite American city I've visited.

I was just there for a day and a half last week.

I'd only go back if I were packing heat, which I wasn't.
Why do you say this? Where are you going that makes you feel this way? I've been there plenty of times and not feel this way.

Anyway, a visit over to Hood River (the town, not the river itself) is a picturesque ride along the Hood River and a nice river town to visit with artisans, skiing, summer water sports, restaurants, fishing and hiking.

You're not that far from Mount St. Helens, if you were awestruck watching that volcano go boom.

My go to every time I was near Portland was in Washougal Washington , just across the river and a major shopping joy in the Pendleton Woolens out let store. (It's been a while, it could be gone now, but it was truly wonderful)

This is my advice, too. The Columbia River Gorge is insanely beautiful.

Cannon Beach is 100% worth the drive. The Columbia River Gorge is really pretty too and you can visit Multnomah falls during the drive. Trillium Lake is a nice area just south of the gorge for kayaking. It’s got some amazing views of Mt. Hood.

Wear your Trump gear around everywhere. You will make the libtard figs that preach peace and tolerance foam at the mouth with pure hatred and anger.

Go to Mary’s. It’s a great Mexican restaurant.

Anyone been to Cannon Beach?

The coast is beautiful. Never been anywhere inland other than Eugene. We drove the entire coast a few years back and surprisingly there’s some MAGA. Totally different vibe the further south you go until you get closer to California.

If you hit Cannon Beach, go to Ecola State Park. Filmed scenes from Point Break (the original) and Goonies there.

I saw a billboard for one while I was out there bragging about how their strip club was all-vegan.

I had questions, but I wasn't going to go in a strip club in Portland to find out.
