I would like to go to flight school. Not for a career but for self betterment.

I’ll be 60 in December so I’m way too old.

I'm doing it. My wife of 40 years passed this January. I'm traveling a good bit. So far, hunting the hill country of Texas, red fishing in the marsh, Utah and Wyoming for a week. I'm going to the Pendleton Roundup rodeo, (oldest rodeo in the U.S.) in September, back to Wyoming fishing for lake trout in October. I want to hunt ducks in Nebraska or South Dakota also. I'm going to travel until I die or run out of money.

Things that I'm wanting to do:

1) Atlantic crossing on a Cunard Queen
2) Edinburgh Military Tattoo
3) See LSU play in every SEC stadium
4) See LSU play in the actual Rose Bowl game and watch Tiger Band make the turn onto Colorado Blvd in Pasadena
5) go to Rome to see the ruins and St. Peter's

Oddball things that I've done:

1) crossed through the 3 checkpoints (ALPHA, BRAVO, and CHARLIE) to/from West Berlin back in the day
2) walked the DMZ between the Greeks and Turks in Nicosia, Cyprus
3) seen the pyramids in Cairo
4) watched a play in an ancient Roman Ampitheater
5) took the steps up to the top of the Washington Monument
6) was part of a crew that live fired an IRBM (Pershing 1a) at White Sands

Spend a night in one of the cabins at the state park on Lake D'Arbonne. Used to go parking with dates on dirt road in that area. Who knows I might get lucky like I did in 1975.
That was my 1st time. This may be my last.

A lot of ski-related stuff. With each bucket list item that gets ticked off, usually have a handful of others that pop up. Near term? Ski the Ford Stettner on the Grand. Long term? Ski the Messner on Denali. Then, there are others I cannot imagine doing so I guess not on my realistic bucket list.

I’d like to hike the Appalachian trail in one go.

I’d like to travel to Japan, and Southeast Asia.

Do a fly-in smallmouth fishing trip up to northern Ontario, Canada

See an LSU-Bama home game and not have to do any of the driving or finding parking.

I would be miserable at the New Year’s Eve ball drop in Times Square.

I have experienced just about everything on my bucket list.
Kentucky Derby maybe?

I'm going to hike the entire length of the Appalachian Trail next year ... I'm training for it now.

There have been people my age to hike it before. I meant to do it decades ago. Life kept getting in the way.

Does a white man teaching Korean Karate count? If so, I can whip that off my list!

Anything travel related to me...except for watching the ball drop!
