Wrong. You can't really believe this.

Why does everything have to have a political agenda?

Also, your efforts to compare gun ownership to driving a car is a total miss, as there is no right to drive contained in the Bill of Rights.
He’s not comparing gun ownership to driving a car dummy.
He’s criticizing the pro 2a crowd that says “ban cars” because cars kill more people than guns.

Aw youre confused. Liberals are the ones who want people to take mental health seriously

At the same time, it’s impossible to just dismiss this shite as more violence in the USA. Simply put, we aren’t safe anymore
The chance of you being shot in a mass shooting scenario is minuscule. Your chance of getting in an accident in your car is greater by a large margin. So are you also afraid of driving to work, class or to go out?

Probably already posted but congratulations on being a pussy

I don’t know. It seems like more mass killings are occurring than when I was growing up in the 70’s and 80’s. There have always been your isolated serial killers but random kids and young adults shooting up movie theaters and schools doesn’t seem like a normal trend. When I was in HS (1981-1985) nobody feared such a thing. You beat someone up with your fists and make up the next day. Does anyone remember school shootings back during the 1970’s and 1980’s ? I don’t.

Actually, you probably live in one of the safest time periods in recorded history. Even in recent history, the murder and violent crimes rates are significantly lower than they were in the 70’s and 80s
Crime rates per 100000
1960 violent crime - 160.9, murder - 5.1, rape - 9.6, robbery - 60.1, aggravated assault - 86.1
1980 violent crime - 596.6, murder - 10.2, rape - 36.8, robbery - 251.1, aggravated assault - 298.5
2016 violent crime - 386.3, murder - 5.3, rape - 29.6, robbery - 102.8, aggravated assault - 248.5
2016 was closer to 1960 than 1980 and a couple of things may have skewed 1960 lower, one being the stigma associated with rape probably kept more women from reporting it in 1960 than 2016. I also suspect some of what is now prosecuted as aggravated assault wasn’t reported as such and just written off by the victims or even the police as an arse whoopin (just speculation in my part,).

No he’s not, dummy. He’s equating a limitation on guns akin to limitations on driving.

the El Paso shooting was an act of political violence if the shooters manifesto is genuine and to be believed. In this particular case you can not evaluate the event without evaluating the politics of it

Pure hyperbole
Is it? I mean... these people in these recent shootings (and every other mass shooting) felt they were perfectly safe at the time. When it happens on the news, it's just a statistic, when it happens to you it's everything (and potentially fatal).

you’re right, we have to stop burying our heads in the sand that a very specific group of less than 6.5% of the US population commits over half of the gun related homicides.

there’s a difference between having a difficult conversation anonymously on the Internet vs publicly in person. And I mentioned previously, having that conversation doesn’t exactly get you votes...

You wouldn’t make it in Israel very long and they live happy vibrant lives, notwithstanding being hunted for centuries.
I am going to keep on living my life. These ephers will not impact my life. Flew today and went to a mall. Only thing I complained about was lost luggage and cost of shoes, not a mass shooter. Going to a ballgame tomorrow night. I hope the only thing I worry about then is 8.00 beer and 7.00 hotdogs. If it’s my time then it’s my time, but I am not going to live a miserable life staying locked up in my home because of these whack jobs. And our military, intllegence agencies and LEOs are pretty amazing at their jobs.

Yeah, the exponential growth of humanity is no evidence at all that we're safer than we've ever been.
It’s not. There are no reliable statistics for violent crime throughout history, however you want to define it. Or even for murder.
