They should have labeled it "starting base salary" and left it at that. No one considers a physician an "entry level job".

ETA or is it because I don’t see it

You have to look closely "with physician commanding the highest median entry-level salary — $193,415 a year". Since this is the number listed for physicians one would assume it applies to all the other jobs, the jobs I am familiar with it makes sense to be the median entry-level salary.

For those complaining about the plant manager salary being low keep in mind, there are a lot of different types of plants other than just O&G and other chemical-based plants where saleries tend to be much higher.

yeah, pharmacy pays well, or whatever, but the job outlook is terrible... that salary is starting to trend the wrong way now.... too many pharmacists and not enough jobs...

NPs are the same level as PAs just different training models.

Both are mid-levels, but the autonomy depends on the state. In some states states NPs are true independent practioners.

It's that way in the military healthcare world. NPs sit at the same level as PAs...are primary care providers, write prescriptions, etc.

I started college in pre-pharmacy, and then switched to IS. Glad I made the move, I don't know how people work retail pharmacy. I have a good friend that compounds chemo, that doesn't seem too bad.

I am not sure how much commercial architects make but it is probably way too high for such low effort

I'd be pretty pissed if I was a physician and got paid peanuts like that

Data Scientist, $97,000.

Probably some entry level folks dragging that number down. I can easily see that job pulling down $140,000 or so

Nah but you enter the Enterprise Architect role after you’ve done your time in one or more capacities. Higher than 122 but not dramatically higher

I suppose the "entry level" terminology could mean people "moving up" in to these roles. I don't know how they would determine that though. There are several fields that are far from entry level
e.g. plant manager, manager Financial planning, corporate controller.

Plant manager seems the most off base. A plant manager around S. La can be a several hundred grand salary at a large plant. No clue what all falls in to that though.
