The Present Moment Paradox

“The "now" you're experiencing... already became the past by the time your brain processed it. You never actually experience the present. You only remember what just happened milliseconds ago. Your entire life is just memories. The present moment you're living in? It doesn't exist. It never did.”

Thoughts?

Today is a gift. That's why it's called the present.

Any that I have are now in the past, apparently.

It sounds deep only because people overthink it.

We all know what it means when we say the present. No need to be over-literal.

There are infinite presents and each of those is either the past or future from some other perspectives.

All time exists at once.

So, you’re saying the present doesn’t exist by pointing out that you’re always subconsciously experiencing it. Weird way to say something doesn’t exist.

I thought you wrote that it happened milliseconds ago?

ETA: Yeah, what DonJuan said!

your brain processing a moment does not dictate the existence of the concept. The paradox is really more about man's perception of the concept of present than it is about the actual existence of the present. How man perceives the present is not real. Even in their explanations of the paradox they essentially acknowledge it's existence

You have existed at all points of time during your life, at some point all those points will have been the present, no matter how infinitely small you want to make that point, you can divide the points infinitely but never into nothing
