Boomers are no different than any other generation. We are all selfish pieces of shite, boomers are just the last ones that get to benefit from voting for their pocket. Gen X, Millenials etc would’ve done the same thing.

You spoiled brats were born in the wealthiest country on the planet and with the highest standard of living in human history and yet you’ve still managed to have a victim complex.

Is this some kind of comparison on spending between Medicare and education or something?
I asked this as well…hell, the graph doesn’t agree with the numbers he quoted either. The whole thing looks like just load of crap provided by some political punditry channel to me…

Nope. You are wrong like with many things you post.
I don’t even recall a poster who said this, but there are multiple posters with a variation of my username.

no it wasn't because the boomers have a larger number of people whereas the one before and one after have smaller numbers
Also probably by the time millennials get to 65 or for sure when gen z gets there social security won't exist, and maybe not medicare either

I'm not opposed to SS, but here is some food for philosophical thought.
Parents are responsible for the children. Adults (parents) are responsible for themselves.
Who is responsible for the eldery? Themselves? Their children? Or is it the government?

No.
But Boomers should be the ones to take the SS hit. Start now. Anyone after their generation will automatically take a hit, and some group is going to take a massive hit when it collapses.

Current retirees on SS: it's everyone's money, and we want it all!

As always give me the raw data. For starters....
1. How many are U.S. citizens?
2, How are the expenses allocated across programs? SS, Section 8, Disability, etc
3. What percentage is fraud? We know SS has massive issues.
4. What percentage of the benefits are collected by those below the poverty line?
This is the reality of big government. The only path to freedom is to vote for less government and less government handouts.

What a stupid thing to point out.
Since the two biggest benefits are SS and Medicare then yeah…older people benefit. It’s probably been similar for decades.
