Where’s Galveston?

We like Clearwater Beach a lot, but parking there sucks donkey balls. Going to dinner, etc, can be a royal pain in the arse.
I've traveled all over Florida and been to beaches on the east coast from Miami to Amelia Island and on the Gulf Coast from Fort Myers to Perdido Key. I always get the best beach experience along the Panhandle. Now at times it can be hit and miss and can suck after a lot of rain or in August with the seaweed but I think the Panhandle is the most consistent for beaches in the U.S. (not including Hawaii...even Hawaiian beaches can be cold and too dangerous). Some beaches in California can be nice but the water is still cold AF.

ohh, i’m not arguing any of that dribble. just purely pointing out the hypocrisy of you and shel bitching about “inserting politics into everything” and you needing to insert your political opinions about Florida and their popular governor. Thanks!

I usually take the ferry and skip the traffic over the bridge.

Have you ever been to Turks & Caicos or the Caymans ? Im curious how those compare to Nassau .
If we are talking about outside of America then there are some beaches that will put anything in the U.S. to shame. The good news they are near by in the Bahamas or Caribbean. I've been to Nassau and Exuma in the Bahamas. Exuma has much nicer beaches but you need to rent a boat to access them and island hop for the day. St. John (a U.S. territory) has world class beaches. Beaches that will rival South Pacific beaches I have only seen in pictures. Trunk Bay and Cinnamon Bay in St. Johns are world class.

Here's the Vermont beach... looks like a nice enough place for a picnic.
Literally looks any state park in GA, AL, FL... a beach on a lake.
I can think of 20 lakes with a better view.
That's just in the state of Oreogn.
I've got 20 more between Washington state and Idaho.

Imagine getting triggered over a clickbait list. This is exactly what they want.

Clearwater is 100% the best beach in continental USA. Hawaii may have better. Recently went to Clearwater and it was fantastic. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to do something besides 30A or Gulf Shores
I have heard it said that Clearwater is totally inundated with $cientologists, since that is their world headquarters and the majority of downtown buildings are $cientology owned, much like Utah with the LDS… Has that been your experience ?

8. Oak Street Beach, Chicago, Illinois
It's not even the best beach in Chicago. North Avenue Beach tGOAT in the city. Oak St Beach is the small one in the corner at the foot of the John Hancock Tower.

Paper in Tampa had a 3d visual story of how much land scientologists own and have bought in the last decade.
They practically own it all.

Unless you're a surfer, Gulf Coast beaches>>>>>> Pacific Coast beaches
I mean. There’s not a lot of pacific coast beaches on the list. And a lot of the gulf coast beaches are pretty shitty.
This op is just looking for something to bitch about and this is a really poor attempt at it.

My idea of a good beach has more to do with it not being overrun with people like Orange Beach and their Phoenix whatever’s.

at north Tybee Beach on the list.
Tybee itself is not the greatest, but if you had to pick between South and North, probably shouldnt pick the side where the savannah River dumps into the ocean with the container ship traffic.

You guys should really learn to take vacations that don't involve beaches. There's a whole world out there.

Because when I think beaches, I think Michigan and Maryland…

Carlsmith Beach over Hapuna on the big island is laughable at best. That is simply irresponsible.
