Little Teddy handed out invitations to 32 of his classmates to last weekend’s party at a pizza restaurant, but none of the children showed up.
This week the boy’s mother, Sil Mazzini, posted a picture to Facebook of Teddy surrounded by pizza and two rows of empty table settings at the restaurant in Tucson, Ariz. The look on the child’s face is nothing short of heartbreaking.
Mazzini told Fox News she had made 32 goodie bags for Teddy to hand out to his classmates along with invitations to his party — and she even spoke to some of the children’s parents, who said their children would come.

There is a silver lining for Teddy though — the picture has since caught the attention of two Phoenix sports teams, who offered the birthday boy free tickets to celebrate with them at upcoming games.
The Phoenix Suns welcomed Teddy and his family to watch Wednesday’s NBA match against the L.A. Lakers.

Take it with a grain of salt, but Facebook commenters have said people did show up...

Cool story, but why humiliate your kid with this picture? Seems like a shitty thing to do especially when he looks back on this and wonders why no one showed up.

Looks like someone had eaten at least 7-8 pieces of pizza already...I call bs on the whole story.

I remember that feeling. The same thing happened to me at my 7,8,9,10, and 12 birthday party. 20 years later I still don’t celebrate my birthday

shite, that's all it takes? i'm gonna have to throw my little girl a "party", take pics of her frowning, and send it to LSU before next weekend then...

Why the hell would the parent post this picture on social media?
Posted on 10/23/18 at 10:15 am to TechDawg2007
There's always a possibility that Little Teddy is an a-hole.
More probable, based on her actions, that Little Teddy's mother is a psycho that none of Little Teddy's friend's parents wanted to be around.

Oh look...more GoFundMe bullshite.
That kid deserves better than someone who intentionally wanted sympathy.

No joke, selfish arse parents making it about them. Just rationalize with the child to make him feel better. Sweetie, i'm sorry, there was a big accident on the road and ur friends couldn't make it, everyone is very sorry though. Enjoy, play games with him, make it a good time regardless without making him feel like trash.

ehhh, i don't like this story.
i get it. it's heartbreaking for the kid. i feel fricking awful for him to be humiliated and embarrassed on one of the most special days of his childhood. (if any of this is even true). but i think the mom or parents are wrong for further publicizing this. why force your heartbroken child to sit there at that table knowing no one showed up for this party and take pictures of his misery. then post it on social media for the entire world to see. it's sick IMO.

Just another way for the mom to get attention. People today love the idea of being a victim and getting sympathy. She probably didn't even consider her child's self-esteem when she went trolling for "oh my god thats so sad" comments on facebook
