Been in Breckenridge since Wednesday. My wife was worried about being surrounded by potheads. I figured I would smell it on every corner. Really haven't seen much of it at all. I mean, you can tell the kids (OT'ers) who came here to smoke and ride mountain bikes. The locals don't care for the pot culture and its enthusiasts.

Anyway, highly recommend this as a summer family vacay spot. Rode the rapids on the Arkansas River on Saturday. Doing a zip line today.

The Rockies don't have much prominence. People just hear 14k and go Lolo all over that.

We spent a week skiing there in Feb. You can't buy pot in the downtown area so you're not going to have that much of it going on.

We caught wind of it twice or three times the whole week.

Wasn't bad at all.

The biggest problem was ever bottles all over the place and people not cleaning up their dog shite.

Low class can afford Breck too.

Summit County has had very lenient marijuana laws for a long time now. Even before the statewide legalization is was lawful to grow your own plants in your home for recreational use.

Summer in Colorado is fun, lots to do and it's a little cooler in most of the ski resort areas. Vail is not too much further, definitely worth the trip and do a jeep tour while you are there.

Went to Breckenridge last year and experienced the same thing.
Of course you can't smoke it at the ski resort, and many public places ban it, so it's not out in the open like one would think.

its just that since its legal, they don't go all crazy and/or act like its a big deal
