I've never shot a human in the face but bullets usually go in small and blow out the back. So I don't even know if I believe that 2-3 shots in the face would make it to where you had to push the face back together?

I'm aware of that. Shooting a guy 100 times after the first shot killed him isn't what they are trained to do.
I definitely understand shooting him the second time, even though you know you just blew his head off with the first one, but for everyone to come and and take a shot at him sounds pretty sadistic.
It's very savage to do something like that. we are better people than than, or at least i thought we were.
I'm not saying they should feel bad for taking his life, but when you find enjoyment in killing someone, or desecrating their dead body, you have a problem.
It's like when someone kills a cop, and they finally catch the guy in a shootout or something and every cop unloads onto the cop killer all at once. The first few shots probably killed the guy, but everyone unloads their weapons into the guy. Nothing wrong with that. Now if they all got out from where they were hiding behind whatever and each walked up to the dead guy in the street and took another shot at him, that's taking it too far. It's just not something as a civil human being you should be doing.

If we're being asked to believe that they spent time dumping 100 rounds into his dead body while at the compound instead of every available set of hands combing the entire place for intel/papers/hard drives/thumb drives, knowing that the Pakistani military would be on them in a matter of minutes, then this becomes difficult to imagine.

With the right weapons, yes.

Your post is pretty misleading. You quote two things from his book at first, then post that last part without showing that O'Neil never said that.
